JAX! …SAVE Molly!

Molly the Crab has been taken away by Figgy the Jay for the Pirates dinner.  Molly’s friend Haji has challenged the Pirate to a game of JAX to get Molly back and SAVE HER!

50 Challenging Levels.

Game Center with six leaderboards and 25 different achievements.

Variety of music on each level change.

Surprises in different colored Jacks, Fire Flies, Star Fish, Eels, Flying Fish and Figgy the Blue Jay.

Eels and Flying Fish mark the boundaries.

Earn Sand Dollars to buy border protection in the maze to keep the JAX ball from rolling out of bounds.

Each level is passable without the addition of borders being added.  But if you’re feeling it a little impossible, add some help by placing walls in stratigic locations.

If you haven’t earned enough Sand Dollars to install all the walls you want, additional Sand Dollars can be purchased.

Molly finds herself in various cages, coves, boxes, nets etc.  Rescue Molly after picking up all the Jacks in the maze.  Once the Jacks have been picked up, Molly is free.  Now just find her with the JAX ball, and get lots of hearts!!

The faster you free and find Molly, the higher your score, the more stars you get, and the more Sand Dollars you earn!

The first app from M45 is “Tire Pressure Correction”.

A utility for setting the optimal tire pressure for fuel economy, tire life, and safety. Seasonal temperature changes can dramatically effect tire pressure. It is difficult to set your tire pressure correctly to the “cold tire” specification. What is The Pleiades?

The Pleiades star cluster, also known as the Seven Sisters and Messier 45(M45), is a conspicuous object in the night sky with a prominent place in ancient culture.  The cluster contains hundreds of stars, of which only a handful are commonly visible to the unaided eye.

It is among the nearest star clusters to Earth and is the cluster most obvious to the naked eye in the night sky.

For northern hemisphere viewers, the cluster is above and to the right of Orion the Hunter as one faces south, and it transits — reaches its highest point in the sky, midway between rising and setting — around 4am in September, midnight in November, and 8pm in January.

The stars in the Pleiades are thought to have formed together around 100 million years ago, making them 1/50th the age of our sun, and they lie some 130 parsecs (425 light years) away. From our perspective they appear in the constellation of  Taurus, with approximate celestial coordinates of 3 hours 47 minutes right ascension and +24 degrees declination.

This is a good video by Deep Sky Videos about viewing the Pleiades.  Viewing the Pleiades.

So what does it have to do with App Making?  Inspiration, wonderment, creativity…

stuff like that!  Pleiades is pronounced “play-at-ease”.
